Built to Last Hobart asks whether your business needs scale, or whether it needs sharper positioning. We'll work through premium pricing, provenance and the story behind what you sell, the customer experience that justifies the price, and how a regional reputation becomes commercial value. We'll also talk about relationship capital. In a smaller market everyone knows everyone, and your reputation walks into the room before you do.
Danica Bunch hosts the day, with Tasmanian founders and operators sharing what they've learned about taking a local idea to the rest of the country and the world. Expect a different measure of growth by the end of it, one built on value, differentiation and reach rather than headcount.

The Full-Day Built to Last Hobart Forum
An opening keynote from Danica on value versus volume, a panel of Tasmanian founders and operators, mastermind tables through the afternoon and a spotlight session to close. From 8:30am to 5:00pm.

A shared lunch at noon and refreshments through the day, with seating set up to mix industries.
Mastermind Tables
A structured peer advisory format. Each person presents one challenge, the table asks questions, offers input and helps define the next step, then the table rotates to the next person.
The Inner Circle (Inner Circle Package)
A half-day with Danica on Tuesday, 8:15am to 12:30pm, then group lunch. A small group, one topic: what makes your business worth more, and how to price and position it.

Day 1: Arrive in Hobart
Check in from 3:00pm. If you arrive early, the waterfront is a short stroll from the hotel and a good place to clear your head after the trip.
From 5:00pm, meet Danica and the group at the optional welcome reception (own cost). By 7:00pm you're free for dinner wherever you like.

Day 2: What Makes You Worth More
Stay guests start with breakfast from 7:00am. Registration and coffee open at 8:15am, and we begin at 8:30am.
Danica's keynote takes on the assumption that growth has to mean getting bigger. Then a panel of Tasmanian founders and operators talks about premium positioning, provenance and building a reputation that travels further than the business does.
Lunch is at noon. In the afternoon you'll join a mastermind table with seven peers, each bringing a question about pricing, positioning or where to grow. A spotlight session puts one or two challenges in front of the whole room, and Danica closes the day at 5:00pm.
Anyone keen to keep talking can join the casual group dinner from 6:00pm (own cost).

Day 3: The Inner Circle
After breakfast, the Inner Circle meets Danica at 8:15am. This morning is about your pricing and positioning: what you charge, why, and what would let you charge more. Everyone brings a real example and the group gives it proper attention.
We finish at 12:00pm with lunch together, then check-out.

Is this only for Tasmanian businesses?
No. The local lens is Tasmanian, but the questions apply to any business that competes on quality rather than size. Mainland attendees are welcome, and the Stay Package makes it an easy trip. Flights and airport transfers aren't included.
My business is small. Is this the right event for me?
Yes. Hobart is built for businesses that want to become more valuable without necessarily becoming bigger. Founders, owner-operators and leaders of established companies will all find the conversation useful.
What if I do want to grow?
